FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How much will it cost?
A: This is a “how long is a piece of string” question. There are so many factors that go in to what the final price will be. It is best to get us to come out to do a no-obligation free quote. The cost for earthworks is often much more than the client first imagines due to the cost of machinery and things such as tip fees. If you can keep your earth on-site you will save yourself a LOT of money so take the time to look around at your section and see if there is anywhere you can move the earth to, rather than taking it away.

Q: When can you do it?
A: We aim to be at your site in one-two months at the latest. We can often get there much earlier, depending on the size of your job. Give us a call to find out!

Q: Can I do it myself?
A: Yes, of course you can, but you need to weigh up a few factors
1. Do you have the time? (it’s usually going to take longer than you think).
2. Do you have the experience? (it’s a lot trickier than it looks to drive heavy machinery!)
3. Are you qualified to drive the machinery?
4. You could do it by hand and save a lot of money…..
but do you really want to break your back all day every day for weeks on end when we will possibly be able to do it in a day?

Q: Will others be cheaper?
A: Yes, it’s possible. But do your homework on your companies – there are plenty of cowboys out there who will promise you a cheap hourly rate, only to sting you by dragging the job out, using the wrong machinery or adding on loads of extras. We’ll give you an honest price, be as efficient as possible, bring in the biggest (most efficient) machinery possible and keep you up to date throughout the whole process.
